We are celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the ConnectAbility Race in 2020!

Parking and Logistics

Free parking is easy to find in Dahlonega. Please use the UNG Parking Deck for covered parking just a short walk from the start line. See a map here (the parking deck is located below the UNG Recreation Center)

We have included a parking, restroom, and area map of the Dahlonega town square for you to easily park and find your way to the race.

7am- Registration & Check In Opens

8:00-8:10am- 5K Run/Walk starts in waves

Approximately 9am- Age Group Awards Presented


Finishers Medals for all 5K Finishers (guaranteed for pre-registered runners only)

Shirts for all 5K Participants (guaranteed for pre-registered runners only)

Special Medals for Top Runners: Male/Female Medals for Each of the Following: Overall Winner, Ages 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+


Refreshments and Other Stuff

All pre-registered 5k participants will receive a race t-shirt and a finisher’s medal. A limited number of shirts and finisher’s medals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on race day.

Timing & Results will be posted online immediately after race on our website.


Enjoy a scenic 5K course through the Dahlonega Town Square in the beginning of the colorful fall season in the North Georgia Mountains. 

Safety Guidelines: 

  • Masks requested when not running
  • No contact water stations, awards, refreshments
  • Chip start timing with 10 minute start period
  • Early packet pick up encouraged
  • Maintain physical distance of 6ft away from others – plenty of room to spread out at Hancock Park
